MUSICAL AND VISUAL PERFORMANCE IN THE IMAGINARY SPACE

TRISTAN PRADELLE / ALEXANDRE PERROT / ARIEL TESSIER

40 MINUTES

Just as the iaidō practicer builds a state of alertness to the space around as well as the ability to trigger his mobility and a new organization of his body at every moment, the musician can grow out of his body. He builds a perception of space by the acoustic phenomenons, but he can also open the field of an imaginary fed by his own substance around him. He then receives and gives from a place vaster than his own body.

It is on this double nature of the physical reality and the possibility of the imaginary that the performance c-o-r-p-s-e-x-t-é-r-i-e-u-r is built. It lets appear on the surface the music of a journey into the invisible, of a dialogue between the imagination and the perception of each musician-performer.
